A surf competition run by the National Trust for 10 to 16-year-olds in Cornwall has been hailed a success.
The aim was to encourage more people to get out and about and enjoy the Cornish coastline.
About 30 young people took part in the competition at Crantock near Newquay which was organised by five-times British surfing champion, Robyn Davies.
She said: "It was great - we've had sun all day, challenging surf and lots of smiles."
Competitors also took part in a beach clean, allowing them to add to their event score through a "green points system" for picking up plastic.
