Visitors can see miniature models of real-life Tube trains

London Transport Museum has opened its depot to the public giving people a glimpse of its 370,000 items, including models of buses and tube trains.
Over the weekend the museum has been offering guided tours of its Acton depot where it stores items that do not fit into the Covent Garden museum.
On display are models of road and rail vehicles, signs, photographs, posters, engineering drawings and uniforms.
Rides on miniature steam and electric trains are also on offer.
Visitor can board full-size heritage vehicles, including the 1950s prototype of the Routemaster bus, and look at original posters and artwork.
The museum's depot in Acton is only open to the public for a few weekends each year.
