Paul Gilligan was stabbed twice

A 19-year-old has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man who was stabbed to death outside a pub.
Leon Ramsden appeared before Bolton magistrates accused of killing Paul Gilligan at the Pepper Alley pub in Bolton, Greater Manchester.
The 31-year-old was knifed in the chest and shoulder in the early hours of Sunday and died in hospital.
Mr Ramsden, of Turnstone Road, Bolton, was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 23 July.
He spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth at the hearing at Bolton Magistrates' Court.
