The numbers of bee colony numbers has declined

Bee keepers in Somerset have asked the government for extra cash to help save the bee.
Somerset Bee Keepers Association (SBKA) applied to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), for increased research money.
The funds will be used to research solutions into bee colony losses, which has drastically reduced the number of bees across England.
SBKA said the bee's health played an important role in pollination.
