RSPCA staff have warned people about the responsibility of owning pets after two cat litters were dumped on its doorstep in freezing weather.
The charity workers in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset, said they were dealing with more cases of animals who had been dumped or abandoned.
A spokesman said: "Responsible animal ownership is about being sure you can cover the cost of your animal.
"Also, if it gets ill you need to be able to take it to a vet."
