Up to 40 jobs are to go at a Kellogg's factory as part of an efficiency review rather than the economic downturn.
The food giant said it remained committed to its plant on Wrexham Industrial Estate where it employs 521.
It has launched a consultation period and said it hoped many of the job cuts would be managed by voluntary means.
The company has had its factory in Wrexham for 31 years, where it produces a number of household named breakfast cereals.
