Somalia, a nation in the grip of a bitter conflict between warlords and Islamist militia, is classified by the UN as the world's most dangerous country.

An ongoing drought in much of the country is further fuelling the humanitarian crisis.

While international journalists are rare in the country, Today correspondent Mike Thomson was able to gain access with the help of the UN.
