Sir Paul recently released his 21st solo album

The veteran musician is set to play Beatles classics as well as material from his latest album Memory Almost Full at a concert on 25 October.

Kinks frontman Ray Davies and punk icon Siouxsie Sioux along with The Chemical Brothers are also on the line-up.

The event will feature 80 acts and take place at various venues around Camden in London from October 24-28.

Classic tracks

Former Banshees frontwoman Siouxsie, who has just released her first solo album in a career spanning 30 years, will perform as part of John Peel night in honour of the late DJ.

Davies will perform a number of classic Kinks tracks at The Roundhouse on 28 October, such as You Really Got Me , and perform some new songs.

New York based producer-DJ Mark Ronson will team up with the BBC Concert Orchestra for a special concert at the event.

Candie Payne, Lily Allen, Terry Hall and Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess are among those joining Ronson for the performance.

The musician collaborated with Allen on a cover of The Kaiser Chiefs' Oh My God earlier this year.

The Leeds band will also be appearing at the Electric Proms, which will be covered on BBC radio, BBC Two and online.
