The Ecology Fund has helped to finance island work since 1991

The National Trust for Jersey says its projects could not survive without money from a special fund.
Trust lands manager Paul Holley said it needed money from the Ecology Fund to help the environment.
The Ecology Fund was launched in 1991 with money given to the island following the Amoco Cadiz tanker disaster.
It gives grants to environmental projects around the island.
Mr Holley said the fund was extremely important to the Trust.
He said it had helped the Trust to complete projects on bird species like the lapwing, and to pay for staff training.
