Politicians work on island future
It is hoped a new island plan for Alderney will help to develop a clear long-term strategy for its future.

Politicians have said that they intend to have a draft version ready for presentation by August.

It will cover a number of areas such as commerce, tourism and the island's ageing population.

A previous initiative to develop an island plan three years ago fell by the wayside after a number of budget and staffing problems.
