People in Guernsey can visit four of the island's attractions without having to pay on Saturday.
Castle Cornet, Fort Grey, Guernsey Museum and, for the first time the Telephone Museum, are all open for free for the day.
The normal admission price to attractions has been waived to mark the Queen's official birthday.
Museums director Jason Monaghan is hoping the day will encourage more islanders to visit the local venues.
"When looking for something to do on a Saturday, perhaps with visitors or with the kids, some people might not automatically think of going to one of the museums," said Peter Sirett, minister for Culture and Leisure .
