Disabled access for churchgoers
A new kitchen and a toilet for disabled people has been built at a Jersey church.

Work started on the west end of Gouray church in October last year.

Churchgoers and parishioners have donated the 20,000 for the new kitchen with work surfaces, a cooker, cupboards and a fridge.

About 80 people go to the three Sunday church services and it is hoped the new facilities will be used by churchgoers and other parishioners for various functions throughout the year.
