Jersey cows head for Rwanda herd
Rwandan President Paul Kagame will be given four Jersey cows as a present for his herd.

The presentation will be made at the island's Winter Cattle show, which is being held this weekend.

While there, he will also be given honorary life membership of the world Jersey Cattle Bureau.

Rwanda's Trade, Commerce and Tourism Minister, Professor Mausseh Nshutifor, says the Jersey cows will improve the country's milk production.

He said: "We are using the local breeds from Jersey to strengthen the herd."
