Vandals caused �600 of damage by spraying offensive graffiti on several buildings at Red Houses in the Jersey Parish of St Brelade.
Black paint was used to spray words and symbols on the walls of Marks and Spencer, the Co-Op, Lloyds TSB and the Silver Springs Hotel.
Some of the graffiti refers to a desire for a skateboard park.
The damage was done between Friday night and Saturday morning. Police are appealing for witnesses.
