Islands hold St John's cadet test
|

An inter-island competition of St John's Ambulance cadets has been staged in Jersey.
A group of 30 cadets from Guernsey and 50 from Jersey have taken part.
The cadets, aged between six and 18, underwent first aid and ambulance aid with individual and team practical sessions and tests.
Bernadette Gavey from St John's Ambulance said: "It helps us to actually practise doing our first aid, in case we have to do it for real."
