The group representing Jersey's holiday industry says more money is needed urgently to advertise the island as a travel destination.
The Jersey Hospitality Association is concerned about the effect allegations of abuse and financial uncertainty are having on bookings.
There is concern in the holiday industry about a 10-15% fall in bookings and enquiries this year.
Gerald Fletcher, the association's chief executive, says action is needed.
The island had 729,000 visitors last year, spending an estimated �222m.
