Audio slideshow: The designer's collection

The world record for the most valuable private art collection to be sold at auction has been broken, according to Christie's in Paris.

During the first two days of a three-day sale, buyers parted with �272m (�307m) for hundreds items that belonged to the late French couturier Yves Saint Laurent, and his former partner Pierre Berge.
