The British Museum is offering visitors a peek behind the scenes with the opening of a new conservation exhibition.
Visitors to the London attraction can watch a team of conservators working on stone, metal, ceramic and organic objects.
The exhibition, called Conservation in Focus, co-incides with the museum's current exhibition on Roman emperor Hadrian.
Early visitors were able to see conservators work on Roman copies of Greek statues of Aphrodite and Eros, Bacchus and Zeus.
