A permanent memorial has been unveiled in London's Hyde Park to the victims of the bomb attacks on the city's transport system on 7 July 2005.
It consists of 52 stainless steel columns - or stelae - one for each of the people who died after suicide bombers detonated explosives on board three Underground trains and a bus. They are grouped to represent those killed in each of the four sites.
The unveiling ceremony, carried out in torrential rain, was attended by the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall and Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
Prince Charles said the families had endured unutterable misery because of the cruel and mindless carnage.
Relatives of the victims laid roses at the memorial - red ones for love and white ones for peace.
The columns bear the date, times and locations of the attacks.
The names of the victims are listed on a separate plaque nearby.
