A powerful car bomb rocked the centre of Afghanistan's capital, Kabul, on Thursday morning. The blast took place near the interior ministry and the Indian embassy.
At least 12 people were killed and more than 80 injured.
Eyewitnesses reported glass and debris scattered in the street. A plume of smoke rose above the area.

Officials said 11 of the dead were civilians, including many workers cleaning the street. One Afghan police officer also died.
Kabul has seen a number of attacks in recent months. Last month, six Italian soldiers were killed in a bomb attack.
