NATIONAL DEBT LINE
A national helpline for people in debt, giving self-help advice, counselling and support over the telephone. They do not see people face to face. Callers are encouraged to ring back with further queries. free information packs are available. No SAE is required.

CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU
You can get free help and advice from your local Citizens Advice Bureau or the Trading Standards Department of your local authority. Some have Money Advice Centres, which deal specifically with financial problems. You can get your local Bureau telephone number from the phonebook or access the CAB website.
