A court in the Indian capital, Delhi, has denied bail to a controversial politician from Bihar state.
Mohammad Shahabuddin, a Rashtriya Janata Dal party MP, was arrested on Saturday at his residence in Delhi. Police had sought him for three months.
The court ruled he could be transferred to Bihar where a number of warrants for his arrest are pending.
Mr Shahabuddin faces charges in over 30 cases, including murder, bank robbery and kidnapping. He denies wrongdoing.
