An original recording from 1923 shows members of the public queuing to see the Royal wedding cake ahead of The Duke of York's wedding to Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon (Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother).
The queues to see the Royal wedding cake took place outside Huntley and Palmers in Reading, Berkshire.
The video has been released to mark the re-launch of the British Monarchy website.
