Ed Balls on 'evil' torture attack

The Children's Secretary Ed Balls has given his reaction to the sentencing of two brothers who tortured two boys in a "sadistic" attack.

The two brothers who carried out the attack, in Edlington in South Yorkshire, have been given an indeterminate sentence, with a minimum of five years in custody.

Mr Balls described the attack as a "terrible, evil act" and said he was appalled by the case.
