Sagle Bernstein left more than 11m to Cromer Hospital

A nurse who cared for a woman who died leaving more than 11m to a hospital two years ago has criticised the failure to spend the money.
When Sagle Bernstein, 82, died she left the money to her local Cromer Hospital in Norfolk to say thank you for the way her sister had been cared for.
Now more than two years later critics say the money for Cromer Hospital is being spent too slowly.
So far less than 1m has been spent.
Registered nurse Kathleen Davidson, who cared for Mrs Bernstein in her final months, said she was concerned about the failure to spend the cash.
'Angry and disappointed'
"She (Mrs Bernstein) would be turning in her grave," she told the BBC.
"She would be very angry and disappointed. She would be furious to think the money was still sitting in an investment account."
But former MP David Prior, chairman of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Trust - which runs Cromer Hospital, defended the way the money has been spent.
He said the Trust was looking at building a new hospital in Cromer and until a decision on this was made it would be wrong to spend all the money.
"We have spent about 1m in buying specialist equipment and we will spend more money when it is appropriate to do so," he said.
