Police uncover huge cocaine haul
The drugs in the back of a van
Police estimate the cocaine and cannabis is worth about 10m
Scotland Yard has made its biggest haul of cocaine in more than a decade, according to police.

The haul - weighing about 370lb (168kg) - was found in 180 packages at a storage unit in Aylesbury, Bucks.

Metropolitan Police officers found the drugs after seizing 1,102lb (500kg) of cannabis at Tilbury Docks, Essex, on a ship from South Africa.

Officers from Ealing's crime squad estimated the drugs had a combined street value of about 10m.

Officers launched Operation Bandage Borough after intelligence led them to believe the drugs were destined for businesses and residents in Ealing, west London.

The covert operation then took detectives to Tilbury and Aylesbury.

The cannabis was found on 9 June sparking further investigations which led to the discovery of the cocaine on 17 June.

Two people - a 33-year-old woman from Islington, London, and a 41-year-old man from Stoke Newington, London - have been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and cannabis.

Det Insp Mick O'Connell, who is leading the investigation, said the seizure had prevented a large quantity of drugs from getting on to London's streets and causing a great deal of harm.
