Nearly 400 people are to lose their jobs with the closure of two car parts factories in Bedfordshire and Essex.
Ecomold, previously called Linpac, manufactured car components from its factories in Dunstable and Southend.
Administrators KPMG took over the running of the company last November but has been unable to find a buyer.
The Dunstable factory will close in August with the loss of 203 jobs while the Southend site will shut a month later, making 181 workers redundant.
KMPG said: "It is disappointing that we have been unable to find a buyer for the remaining operations, however we are still seeking offers."
