Tyntesfield House is a major tourist attraction

A Gothic mansion near Bristol is in line for a major tourism award.
Tyntesfield House, in North Somerset, is competing against the Trinity Lighthouse Cottages and the Museum of Docklands in London.
The winner of the annual British Guild of Travel Writers (BGTW) award will be announced on 7 November.
The award is given for the best project that is less than two years old; has "tourism potential" and benefits the community and environment.
'Restoration process'
Tyntesfield was bought by the National Trust two years ago for 25m.
Anthony Lambert, from the Writers' Guild, nominated Tyntesfield and said: "More than 17,000 people thought it special enough to raise 3m towards its purchase.
"But what's really special about Tyntesfield is what the National Trust is doing with it. Ten years ago the house would have been closed for years while it was restored.
"Today it takes a different view. It has involved more than 160 local people in the restoration process."
