Healthy brains are needed to aid with the vital research

University scientists have issued an appeal for people to bequeath their brains to help with research into Alzheimer's disease.
Researchers at the University of Bristol have 800 brains but need more to help find a cure for the disease, along with other forms of dementia.
Professor Seth Love told BBC News the researchers needed to analyse ordinary brain tissue for comparative purposes.
The 700,000 dementia cases in the UK are expected to double in 10 years.
Professor Love, the director of the South West Brain Bank, said: "We can't be certain that what we're looking at in brain tissue from someone with Alzheimer's disease is abnormal unless we have the opportunity to compare it with a normal brain from someone of the same age."
