Delores gave birth to eight piglets
|
Cornish web users can log on and watch the first few days of the lives of newborn piglets.
It is part of a project at Saltash.net Community School website.
The pigcam was first set up so pupils at the junior school and nearby schools could watch how Delores the sow was progressing with her pregnancy.
She gave birth to eight piglets on Tuesday morning. Teachers behind the project hope it will help pupils to understand animals better.
It was the first farrowing for Delores, who is a Duroc cross-bred sow.
