The unit has more dialysis stations

A new dialysis unit, which will benefit hundreds of kidney patients in Cornwall, is opening in the county eight weeks earlier than planned.
750,000 has been invested in the renal service at the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Truro.
Doctors said they would now have the capacity to support the increasing number of patients needing dialysis.
The unit has more dialysis stations and staff will be able to treat more patients at the same time.
The need for dialysis in Cornwall is increasing every year; partly due to the ageing population.
