Christopher Brooks admitted five sex charges

A Cornish PE teacher convicted of having sex with a 14-year-old pupil has been jailed for five years.
Truro Crown Court heard how Christopher Brooks, 44, from Lelant, had sex with the girl in a school changing room, a store room and at his home.
Brooks, who is married, had admitted five charges involving sex with the under-age girl.
Judge Jeffrey Rucker told him his sexual degradation of the girl was a gross breach of trust.
He went on to say the impact on her would have been considerable.
The offences came to light when notes written by the girl to a friend were handed in to the school.
