Council cash offer to 'downsize'

Cornish housing association tenants could get up to �2,500 if they agree to move to a smaller home.
The Penwith District Council scheme is aimed at encouraging people to move out of properties which have become too large for their needs.
Anyone in a two, three or four-bedroom home is eligible to apply.
"This initiative is an important part in enabling families in temporary housing into permanent homes," said a council spokesman.
