The government has announced it is to give 4.1m to build a new public transport interchange at a Warwickshire rail station.
The interchange, at Coleshill, will offer integrated bus services and better connections to Birmingham's airport and exhibition centre.
It will also provide a park and ride service which will connect to the M42, as well as local roads.
The announcement was made by Transport Minister Derek Twigg.
He said: "This new interchange will make public transport an even more attractive option for local people.
"Getting more people onto public transport will help tackle congestion and improve safety as well as improving accessibility to jobs."
The development will include a five-bay bus interchange and a 200 space car park as well as a new road bridge over the railway.
Warwickshire County Council has agreed to improve bus services.
