A raid on a pirate radio station led to equipment worth thousands of pounds being seized from a studio.
The operation, by police, a housing group and Ofcom, focused on a private address in Holbrook Lane, Coventry.
Residents in several of the city's high-rise flats had complained after radio transmitters were put on their tower block aerials.
A spokeswoman for Whitefriars Housing Group said the residents had been complaining since June.
She said the transmitters caused extensive damage to Nauls Mill House, Meadow House, Spon Gate and Paradise.
Residents suffered interruptions to their radio, phone and television signals.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "We were responding, together with our partners, to the concerns of residents.
