Second phase for traffic revamp
Council plans
The council has drawn up plans
Plans for phase two of Connecting Derby - the major revamp of the city's road network - are to be put forward for public consultation.

The proposed changes include creating more bus lanes and pedestrian zones.

A number of exhibitions are being held over the next fortnight so that people can give their opinions.

Major work includes making Ford Street and Stafford Street in the city centre two-way, so that the Beckett Street area can be closed to traffic.

A new link road on King Street will be built and bus lanes introduced to improve flow around the Five Lamps junction.
