A third person has been charged with the murder of a Derby teenager who was shot in the chest in a park.

The 17-year-old has been remanded in custody by magistrates in Derby over the death of Kadeem Blackwood, 15, who died from a shotgun wound in November.

Another five people arrested with the youth during raids in Burton-on-Trent earlier this week were bailed.

Michael Hamblett-Sewell, 19, and Callum Campbell, 18, both of Derby, have also been charged with murder.

A total of 15 people have now been arrested as part of the inquiry into the shooting, in Sunnyhill at the Caxton Street recreation ground.

Helena Griffin, 48, of Derby, and 23-year-old Ashley Campbell have both been charged with assisting an offender.
