People in Plymouth are being invited to trace their roots as part of a family history open day.
The Plymouth and West Devon Record Office and the Plymouth Library Service will be holding a family history day on Saturday.
The event is being held in conjunction with the Devon Family History Society and BBC Radio Devon.
People who go to the city's Central Library will have free access to family history websites.
Research advice
People will be able to access computer indexes, parish records, newspapers and census records.
Staff from the record office and the city libraries will also be on hand to demonstrate some of the resources available.
And members of the Devon Family History Society will be able to offer research advice.
City archivist Sam Johnston said: "Researching family history has become very popular, because so many records are now available at the click of a mouse button, it is becoming easier to carry out this research."
