An art deco open air swimming pool in Devon has earned a top award for a team of engineers.
The team from Plymouth City Council was responsible for the restoration of the Grade II-listed Tinside Lido.
The 3.3m project took 10 years to complete and the pool on Plymouth Hoe reopened in August 2003.
The Institution of Civil Engineers praised the team for the quality of design, value for money, and protecting the environment.
The lido was built at the forefront of Plymouth Hoe and opened in the 1930s.
It was closed in 1995 by the city council after the decision was taken that it was too expensive to repair.
Since its reopening last year, more than 30,000 people have been through the original 1930s lido turnstiles.
