3m fish dock could bring 25 jobs
Planners in Devon are being recommended to give the go-ahead for a 3m redevelopment of Appledore's fish dock.

The plans before Torridge District Council would mean a new jetty and processing building at Hubbastone Road.

The Regional Development Agency and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs will be approached by the council to help fund the scheme.

The new fish dock could be up and running by autumn 2008, providing 25 new jobs as well as safeguarding 24.
