A van driver had a lucky escape after he became trapped in his vehicle as it hung over the edge of a quarry.
The van came off the road and crashed through a hedge near Sturminster Newton, Dorset, on Sunday morning.
The vehicle ended up at the edge of Marnhull quarry and the driver was trapped behind broken glass which had been carried in the van.
Fire crews from Sturminster Newton and Gillingham used cutting gear to free the man, who was not seriously hurt.
