|
Abseiling engineers are being used to assess the crumbling stonework of an ancient Dorset ruin.
Engineers are using the daredevil technique to survey weather damage to the walls of Corfe Castle.
The castle's keep was closed in April by owners The National Trust after the winter weather left masonry in an unstable condition.
The trust plans to carry out full repair works once the survey of the castle is complete.
Meanhwhile, the visitor attraction will remain open.
