A group of amateur rugby players are to join the organ donor register in memory of murdered ex-teammate Ben Mullany, who was shot in Antigua.
The 31-year-old's wife Catherine, also 31, from Pontardawe, South Wales, was killed during their honeymoon in July in an attempted robbery.
Mr Mullany played for Matson Rugby Club in Gloucester between 1999 and 2000.
Club secretary Chris Ravenhill said players wanted to honour Mr Mullany by joining the national donor register.
He said: "Unless something happens to people relevant to you, you don't think about it - it was quite an eye-opener.

"Three or four of them have already signed up but I'm going to get all the forms and try to get as many of them signed up as possible.
"The whole thing was a real tragedy. I knew Ben and played with him when he was at the club."
The University of the West of England physiotherapy student was declared dead last Sunday at Morriston Hospital in Swansea.
He had been flown home following the attack on the Caribbean island.
His 31-year-old doctor wife Catherine died in the bungled robbery in their rented holiday cottage on the last day of their trip.
Their organs could not be donated but when the rugby club members were told about the events, they agreed to sign up to the register.
