Rivers monitored after heavy rain
Early flooding alerts are in place on three rivers in Oxfordshire after heavy rainfall throughout the county.

The Environment Agency has imposed flood watches on The River Thames, the River Ray, and the River Ock which may overflow with more downpours.

The agency has warned people in the area not to attempt walking or driving through floodwater.

The threat on part of the River Thames has reduced, and a flood warning was lifted yesterday.
