Anti-skid surface to cut crashes
Skid resistant surfaces are being laid on dangerous roads in parts of North Lincolnshire in a bid to reduce the number of fatal accidents.

Work is under way to improve the B1206 between Brigg and New Holland and the A1077 west of Winterton Road.

The B1206 was listed as an accident blackspot after several people were killed on the road in recent years.

Safety experts said the new surface meant cars would get a better grip on the road when drivers braked.
