Passengers using East Midlands Airport have been urged to allow extra time for their journeys because of the British Superbike Championships at Donington. Thousands of Superbike fans will be attending the event at the Leicestershire circuit from Saturday to Monday and heavy traffic is expected. Passengers are usually advised to arrive two hours before a flight but should expect delays at the weekend. A one-way traffic system will be put in place on Melbourne Lane on Monday. The airport said traffic would be diverted via Wilson to rejoin the A453.
