Demolition work continues at site
Migrants protesting
Demolition workers were pelted with bricks
Work is continuing to demolish a building erected without planning permission to house migrant workers.

Demolition men came under a hail of bricks from people at the house in Gosberton, Lincs, when they moved in on Tuesday morning.

They are expected to be at the site for the rest of the week, pulling down two unauthorised extensions.

Owner Alan Garrard, 29, was charged with a public order offence and obstructing a planning officer.

He was bailed to appear before Spalding magistrates next Tuesday.

No-one was injured in the clash as 70 people, including woman and children, were removed from the site.

South Holland District Council said it had issued several warnings to Mr Garrard and took the action on Tuesday as a last resort.
