A man has been charged with violent disorder after clashes between Millwall football fans and police.
Christopher Butler, 24, is accused of being involved in violence which
followed Millwall's defeat against Birmingham City on 2 May 2002.
Mr Butler, from Pimlico, south west London, is due to appear before Greenwich Magistrates' Court on Friday.
Rioting outside Millwall's ground in Bermondsey, south-east London, left 47 police officers and 26 horses injured.
Six officers needed hospital treatment after fans threw
missiles, including bricks, paving stones, flares and fireworks.
