Oxford Street in central London has reopened following an electrical explosion.
The emergency services were called to a "small explosion" near Selfridges at about 1650 BST closing the section between Marble Arch and Oxford Circus.
The London Ambulance Service said there were no injuries.
London Fire Brigade said it was called to an electrical explosion which was caused by an overloaded junction box beneath the pavement.
People on the famous shopping street reported seeing smoke coming out of the ground and the pavement buckle upwards.
