Staff will picket outside the World Museum

More than 250 staff from Liverpool's museums and galleries are on strike in a row over pay.
Museum bosses said all the attractions would be open and the public would not be affected by the action.
Staff and union representatives are picketing six sites - including The World Museum and the Maritime museum - in the one-day strike.
They claim an imposed pay offer is less than half the rate of inflation, making it the lowest paying national museum.
The offer will also make them one of the lowest paid public bodies, it is claimed.
Staff are represented by the Prospect and Public Commercial services union.
